One of the best family sites I've ever seen. Organized, easy to search, and encompasses the 'neighborhood'!
Thank you for a nice time and showing all of us how to do it right!

What is you Cole connection. I am from the John (Jack) Cole line, the great grandson of Joseph Carson Cole the son of Harbard C. Cole. Thanks for all the hard work. Do you have any leads from where Jack Cole's family came from?

This is some fine research. I am interested in the family of Edward J Stewart. My grandfather was James O.Stewart who was killed around 1898-1902 and who appears in this tree.I know only that he is buried near Robbins. All the ones who knew where have passed away but it appears that your tree shows some living decendants that might be able to help.

Most of the names I saw on the land grants were my relatives mostly on my grandmother's side of the family. My dad's mom. Her name was Josephine Sheffield Kidd. She also had in her line Hunsuckers, Williams, Stutts, Maness. There were Brady's on both sides of my dad's line.

Your genealogy will increase in it's value to those us who hope to connect our Scots-Irish History. One common ancestor for Chatham and Moore natives is Old Connor Dowd. I have dug up the Priest-Dowd connection. Will be glad to offer that if you should pursue the Dowd connection to Moore Co. nice job!
