William M. Larrence v. Peter Shamburger. Trespass, harboring plaintiffs wife (Polly Larrance Shamburger, daughter of Peter Shamburger) and enticing her away. Orginally filed in Randolph County but moved to Guilford County upon Shamburger's claim that Larrence's father is a preacher, merchant and tavern keeper in Randolph and exerts much influence and Shamburger lives in Moore County and will not be subject to a fair trial in Randolph.
