Alexander married Mary Jackson, daughter of Samuel Jackson. Samuel had a brotherWilliam Jackson who lived on Little Juniper Creek about 10 miles southwest of Carthage. William also had a daughter Mary, who married Alexander's brother Neill around 1799.
