  [S1183] Tim Anderson [tim.anderson20@gmail.com], 17 Jul 2011. My name is Tim Anderson, and I too am a descendant of Isham Wallace. His grandson, William Clark Wallace is my Great Grandfather...I would be more than happy to supply you with some information regarding the William Clark Wallace/Ella Ford family...I of course never knew him, and my grandma was only 11 when he passed, so stories are few and far between. I did receive some information about him from Furman University (who has a history of Baptist Ministries down South) and I will share that with you. In addition to the churches you have listed, he also was pastor at Lexington Baptist Church in Lexington, SC from 1921-1927. He attended Wake Forest University (years unknown). There was also a write up about him that reads as follows: "His ability to lead a church in an enlargement effort was due to his close and consecrated walk with God. The churches he served grew in numbers, in missionary vision and in larger buildings. When he came to Lexington Baptist Church, it was small in members, finances, vision, and building. Under his ministry many saved were added to the church. Vision of World missions broadened and he led in a building enlargement campaign that provided in place of the small frame church building, a large and beautiful brick edifice with educational rooms provided for the Sunday School. He gave tirelessly of himself, his time, his money and his strength that Baptist work, under God might be advanced in this place. And he prayed unceasingly as he worked. He was kindly, unassuming, but you felt when in his presence, that he knew God intimately. He was ever ready to help the poor, the sick, the sorrowful and the lost. He had the faith to believe 'We shall reap if we faint not', and his favorite words of encouragement in any difficult time were 'we are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us'. Unafraid he went forward, sure that God would lead the way." In terms of additional info of the family, I can correct Celeste (William Clark Wallaces daughter) Wallace's info (married Robert Edwin Anderson [7/21/1921 - 7/6/2010]). Her middle name is Annette, and her birthdate was August 6th, 1926. She is still living, and she has one remaining sibling, Margaret "Peggy" Victoria Wallace (Married Clifford Johnson). Celeste & Robert had 5 children.
