She had been confined to her bed about seven weeks with consumption. She was just in the prime of her girlhood. She leaves three sisters and a host of friends to mourn their loss. She was the daughter of Thomas W. Maness, her father and mother and one sister being dead, but the beauty of her death was that she was prepared to meet God in peace."
