Jacob Cagle [age 79], a resident of Warren County, TN applied for a pension. He was born at the "head waters of Deep River in April 1755" and mentions residences in Cumberland County, Mecklenburg County and Buncombe County, NC. Widow Sarah Cagle [age 76] testified on Mar 9, 1853 that Cagle died Aug 14, 1845 and they were married in Buncombe County, NC in 1821.
