Robert Purvis died in 1818 leaving widow Catharine Purvis who died in Jul 1827. Wm. Purvis, Executor and son of Robert Purvis sold negroes Tabb, Hannah, Earny, Miles, Viney, Louisa, George and Joe. Madison Purvis and minors Robert, John, Joseph and Carey are children of Andrew Purvis, Dec'd. who was son of Robert Purvis. John Purvis and Polly Purvis reside out of state and have received their share of the estate already.
