His mother was: Joanna Edmunds Born: c1720, Brunswick, Glynn, GA Died: 1795 in VA [S111] Danny Brewer [dbbrewer619@gmail.com]. Family records show that Lanier's wife was Narcises / Rebecca (Cherokee Indian) Born: 1740, Brunswick, VA Died: 1834, Franklin, GA Daughter of Oconostota Stalking Turkey Cherokee Indian and Ooloosta Paint Clan Cherokee Indian Lanier John Brewer Jr had two wives. A Mary (Mantooth)Brewer (but she didn't have kids, perhaps dying young). He then married a full blood Cherokee named Narcises Rebecca (I will send some additional info on Narcises) and they had 10 children.
