My wife's grandfather was Silas Albert Morgan b: 27 Jan 1895; Moore Co, NC d: 18 Nov 1987; Raleigh, NC He was a fitter at shipyard in Newport News, VA. This is where he and his wife Bertie Mae Freeman are buried (Newport News Pennisula Memorial Park, Newport News, Virginia, USA). They were married Mar 09, 1924 in Moore Co. Bertie Mae Freeman Her father was Ira Ernest Freeman and mother Sallie Ella Hare. She is not listed in your tree but her brothers are listed. B: 20 Jul 1903 Spies, Moore Co., NC D: 04 Dec 1993 Raleigh, NC There children were Lucille Irene Morgan and Ella Mae Morgan. They are both still alive. Ella Mae is my wife's mother. My wife Judy fathers recorded information directly from Silas and Bertie. I knew them both as well. The lived with my wife's parents in Raleigh for over 10 years until it became too difficult. Their last few years were a rest home in Cary. Bertie lived long enough to see my oldest daughter.
